Mari Loyal is a Latina author of heat without spice: closed door romance that isn’t clean. Her heroes sweat and stink, her female leads don't always wash their hair, they play tonsil hockey, their minds can be in the gutter, and they know when it's appropriate to drop a moderate expletive. Her books are great starter romances, palate cleansers and ace friendly. She’s a homebody, which suits her cat very well.
